Following a healthy lifestyle could prevent almost a quarter of colorectal cancers, According to Danish researchers.
They followed over 55,000 healthy men and women age 50 to 64, for a ten year period -- looking at their adherence to five lifestyle recommendations. They included exercising for 30 minutes a day, limiting alcohol consumption, being a non-smoker, keeping off belly fat and following a healthy diet.
The researchers that following all five recommendations could reduce these cancers by 23-percent.
