GRAHAM, Wash. (AP) - An autopsy on two Utah brothers whose father blew the three of them up in his house Sunday shows the boys also were struck with a hatchet.
Josh Powell, a person of interest in his wife's 2009 disappearance, set his house on fire during a supervised visit with the boys. Authorities found the hatchet and gasoline containers in the destroyed home.
Before killing himself and his two sons, Powell left a voicemail for family members saying he couldn't live without the boys and didn't want to go on anymore.
ABC News obtained what it says was a voicemail Powell left for his family members. In the recording, Powell also says he's calling to say goodbye, and that he's sorry to everyone he's hurt.
