Fatality count in overnight crash now at 2

Two people have died after a rollover crash on Wildhorse Road in Pueblo overnight.

Colorado State Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed near East Spaulding Avenue.

The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed, ran two red lights at Highway 50 and continued northbound on Wildhorse Road where it rolled, ejecting 3 of the 5 occupants.

One of the ejected occupants, a 16 year female, died on scene as a result of her injuries. The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old male was transported to Parkview Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

The remaining occupants, two 14-year-old females, and one 15-year-old female were transported Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo with serious injuries.

After the crash, troopers determined the vehicle to be a stolen vehicle out of Colorado Springs. A handgun was also found inside the vehicle.
