Fatal traffic accident closes Highway 115

The Colorado State Patrol says Highway 115 is closed in both directions near Fort Carson's gate 5, because of a serious accident.
Troopers say one person has died and that several others are injured. No word yet on how many other people are injured, or their conditions.
CDOT doesn't have an estimated time of reopening the highway at this point, so avoid the area if possible. We have a crew on scene and will bring you more information as we get it.
