Fatal crash on east side of Colo. Springs

Colorado Springs police are on the scene of a deadly crash on the east side of town, at Stetson Hills Boulevard and Jedediah Smith Road. It happened around 8 Thursday night. Police are reporting one person has died, and at least two others were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Eastbound lanes of Stetson Hills are shutdown right now.
The accident involves just one car, a white KIA. The debris from that crash scattered a block. Witnesses tell investigators that the car was going extremely fast when it went out of control and rolled at least two times. The young man and woman who were in the front seats were wearing seatbelts. They had to be cut out of the KIA. Police don't know if the young man in the backseat was buckled in. He died.
No names have been released. The eastbound lanes of Stetson Hills Blvd will be closed for another hour or two.
