Fatal accident victim identified

Colorado Springs police have identified the victim of a fatal accident Tuesday as Sara Hernandez.
Police say Hernandez was traveling southbound on Union Blvd south of Ranch Drive in the right traffic lane approaching a vehicle which was stalled in the right through lane. Hernandez swerved to avoid the vehicle and lost control. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
Hernandez was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor and investigation is continuing.
