BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Browns quarterback Colt McCoy spent a few days talking nothing but football with Brett Favre. The subject of Favre's future never came up.
McCoy said "we didn't even go there" when asked if he thought Favre, who has spent the past few seasons retiring and then coming back to the NFL, will make another celebrated return.
Wanting to learn all he could about Cleveland's new West Coast offense, McCoy sought out Favre, who spent most of his illustrious career running it. McCoy said Favre picked him up at the airport in Mississippi and that they spent several days together. McCoy said it was a thrill to be around and learn from one of his idols. He wore Favre's No. 4 in high school. McCoy said the visit with Favre was invaluable.
