A Missouri family is fighting to keep their pit bull after they were told by police that they had to get rid of him.
The Frank family of Troy say their pit bull, Moby, helps their son Logan deal with autism.
They got the dog several years ago, shortly after Troy enacted a ban against pit bulls.
They recently received a notice from Troy police Thursday that they had ten days to remove the dog or risk facing further consequences.
Melissa Frank says she believes the ordinance is unfair.
"I just think that if the dog was raised to be a good dog, it's going to be a good dog and if it was raised and bred to be a good dog, it shouldn't be banned," she said.
