A long-time downtown Colorado Springs landmark could soon see some change.
The sign for Michelle Chocolatiers and Ice Cream could be coming down, if the building it's been on for years sells in an auction next month.
The business was in operation for more than 50 years in Colorado Springs. Tax problems forced Michelle's to shut down in 2007, and the building was sold. The new owners never put another business in Michelle's place.
The building is going up for sale again, in an auction, and the possibly of a new owner means, possibly, a new business in the vacant building.
The auction will be October 8th, at 10:07 a.m., at the building for sale. (122 N. Tejon St.)
The winner of the auction will have 30 days to close a sale on the building. The sale is being handled by SchurSuccess Realty and Auction.
