Trees blown down last November in a wind storm can still be found all over the Sangre de Cristos in Custer County.

Near County Road 198, large trees are toppled over, and some are even uprooted.

Many of the trees have caused problems along Rainbow Trail, but crews are working to clean everything up.

The National Forest Service says they may have to close some of the trails this summer, but for now they're open; however, hikers might have to climb over some logs.
