A cold front brought some early morning showers on Thursday to parts of Southern Colorado. The cold front will bring in cool air, and highs will be in the mid-to-upper 60's around Colorado Springs and Monument with low-to-mid 70's from the Arkansas River south along and west of I-25, including Pueblo and Cañon City, upper 50's and lower 60's in Teller County, and upper 70's for the Southeastern Plains.
High pressure building behind the cold front will set up an upslope breeze that will mean a few showers after 3:00 this afternoon and continuing into the early evening. While showers will be around, they will not bring rain to everyone. The rain will generally be light.
