On paper Saturday's football game at the Air Force Academy appears to be a mismatch.

The Air Force Falcons kick off the season against Northwestern State from Louisiana. Northwestern State is from the Football Championship Subdivision which used to be known as Division I-AA.

The Demons went 0-11 last year and play in the same conference as Nicholls State. The Falcons beat Nicholls State on opening day last year 72-0.

But the Falcons say they will not overlook this team.

"They'll be great competition," said Air Force cornerback Reggie Rembert. "You don't want to knock them at all. Appalachian State, a couple years ago, upset a Division I-A school. So I mean you can't look past an opponent."

Quarterback Tim Jefferson says,"We want to take care of business right from the get go. We don't want to hang around and let them stay with us. We want to jump on them early and crush their hopes and dreams."

Kickoff is at noon Saturday at Falcon Stadium.
