Explosive devices rendered harmless

The Regional Explosives Unit has disposed of a cache of improvised hand grenades and other pyrotechnic devices.
The devices were found in the Black Forest area in storage earlier this week. The owner is deceased.
Members of the Explosive Unit removed a total of 26 grenade devices, about three dozen fireworks devices capable of being launched, some fuses and six tear gas canisters used in riot control.
Over a period of two days the devices were rendered harmless.
