Everest Online University now calls Colorado Springs home. The internet-based university celebrated the grand opening of their new national headquarters Wednesay in one of the buildings at the former Intel campus off of Garden of the Gods Road.

The company actually moved in last year and has since hired around 200 employees. General manager Michael Mossman says they plan to add another 400 positions over the 18-24 months.

"We get to change peoples lives through continuing with their education or starting their education which fundamentally allows them to progress to things that maybe they didn't think were possible."

The Education Service Center will handle enrollment, financial aid and other operations for the university. Mossman says the company plans to fill half of the new positions in the next two months.
