Emergency crews work to free person trapped under boulder

COLORADO SPRINGS - Firefighters and paramedics are using heavy equipment to rescue a person reportedly trapped beneath a boulder in the front yard of a Colorado Springs home.

The fire department was called to the home on the 300 block of Brandywine Drive just after 12:30 p.m.

Firefighters with the Colorado Spring Fire Department Heavy Rescue unit can be seen digging with hand shovels and a small excavator to free the injured person.
