Eleven arrested at CSPD sobriety checkpoint

Eleven drivers were arrested for DUI at a sobriety checkpoint in Colorado Springs Friday night. The checkpoint was set up in the 3200 block of E. Platte Ave.
More than 1,000 vehicles went through the checkpoint during the four hours it was set up.
The checkpoint was run by the Colorado Springs Police Department and the Colorado State Patrol with the assistance of Colorado Springs Utilities. It's part of the 100 Days of Heat campaign.
