Eldora, Vail started their ski season Friday

Two more Colorado ski resorts are open for the season.
Eldora Mountain Resort and Vail Mountain both opened for the season Friday with limited terrain.
Seven other resorts opened earlier this fall. About the same amount will be opening for the season next week.
Colorado Ski Country USA says skier visits were down 5.5 percent last season during the recession compared with the previous season. The trade group is hoping early snow will get people excited about skiing and snowboarding this season.
