El Paso County Wildfire Ruled Suspicious

UPDATE 3: The Hanover Fire chief tells News 5 the fire is suspicious in nature. Investigation is underway to determine whether it was arson. 

UPDATE 2: 15 acres burned.

UPDATE: All evacuations have been lifted. Fire crews are in mop-up mode. 

Firefighters are responding to a wildfire burning in El Paso County. The fire has burned approximately 25 acres east of Hanover. The fire was reported near Sagebrush Lane.

The border of that evacuation area was Holman Road on the north, Peyton Highway on the west, Myers Road on the south and Squirrel Creek on the east.

We have crews on the way, more details as we get them.
