DURANGO, Colo. (AP) - Durango's trolley is so popular transit
officials are hoping it can cope with the crush of riders.
Transit Operations Manager Kent Harris says the city can't stand another 10 percent increase in riders without changes.
Drivers already are leaving passengers waiting at stops because the trolley is full.
The Durango Herald says transit officials are discussing ways to raise money for more trolley cars, including raising the price on parking meters and shortening the trolley route.
