Autumn officially arrives next Tuesday, Sept. 22. This weekend, Pueblo Mountain Park will host a "turn-of-the-seasons" evening drum circle. This will be an informal gathering of creative rhythms as the natural world plays out one of its own rhythms represented by the cycling of the seasons.

Bring your own drums, or use one provided by the park. Bring a jacket and bug spray. Gathering at 6:00 pm. Cost: free.

Directions to the park: Take the exit off I-25 at Hwy 50W towards Canon City. Go about 5 miles to Pueblo Blvd. - go left (south) here. Go about 5 miles to Northern Ave (Applebee's and Wal-Mart are on the corners), and turn right (west). Northern Ave becomes Hwy 78. Go about 23 miles to Beulah, to a fork in the road. Go left at the fork, go 2.6 miles to the main entrance of the Pueblo Mountain Park, on the right. Enter park, follow the sign to Horseshoe Lodge!
