Drivers identified in deadly crash on Hwy 50

The Colorado State Patrol has identified the drivers in a deadly crash on Highyway 50, east of Pueblo Thursday morning.

A 2005 Mazda 6 was attempting to make a left turn from 36th Lane to Highway 50 westbound when it collided with a 2005 GMC Schwan's delivery truck.

The driver of the car car, 21-year-old Elizabeth Clemans, was wearing a seatbelt, but was pronounced dead at the scene. State patrol says she was a local college student.

The Schwan truck driver is identified as 59-year-old Robert Crocker of Pueblo, he sustained minor injuries and was taken to Parkview Hospital for treatment.

Troopers say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash.
