The Department of Revenue Office in Walsenburg, where driver's licenses are issued, has closed and there are no plans to reopen it.

The Department of Revenue sent out a news release Tuesday saying the Walsenburg office would close due to environmental problems with the building.

People needing license services or I.D. cards will have to go to the Trinidad Office at 200 E. 1st St. or drive to Pueblo.
