Driver injured in Murray crash

The driver of a car in a crash at Murray and Fountain has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Murray was closed for a short time while the crash was cleaned up.
A woman was pulling out of the Safeway parking lot onto Murray when she was hit by a pickup truck that was travelling north bound on Murray. The driver was extricated out of her vehicle by Colorado Springs Fire Department.
The accident is still being investigated by Colorado Springs Police Department.
A passenger in the car and the driver of the pickup truck were both taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
