Dozens of organizations closed or delayed

Dozens of closures and delays are in effect across southern Colorado as we face this morning's snow storm.

El Paso County has approximately 30 plow trucks working to remove snow and apply anti skid material where needed. Driving conditions vary widely as this storm moves from north to south across the county.

Drifts are reported in areas of northern El Paso County with high winds contributing to icy conditions.

All El Paso County Administrative Offices are on a delayed start and scheduled to open at noon with exception of the El Paso County Public Trustee's Office which is open regular hours.

We also have numerous reports of slide offs and rollovers between Pueblo and Pueblo West on Highway 50.
