The heavy wet, snow Sunday morning has caused a power outage in the central part of Colorado Springs. A spokesperson for Colorado Springs Utilities says that a the weather is likely to blame for a downed power line in the area of Bennett Avenue and Yampa Street in the Knob Hill neighborhood.
Some 4,100 customers temporarily lost power. Utilities was quickly able to restore power to about 3,000 of those customers and expects to have full power restoration by 7:30 a.m.
