It is perhaps the final chapter of the Dougherty saga in Colorado; the sibling trio is expected to be sentenced tomorrow in Walsenburg. Tonight they're behind bars in Huerfano county.
The nationwide manhunt came to a screeching halt last summer; the three fugitives were captured after a shoot-out and car chase topping 100 mph ended with their car wrapped in a guard rail off I-25 near Walsenburg. The siblings were wanted for bank robbery in Georgia and firing at police in Florida when they were spotted buying camping equipment in Colorado and evaded authorities.
Ryan Dougherty faces up to 20 years in prison, Dylan could be behind bars for up to 32 years, and Lee Grace faces up to 28 years in jail.
After sentencing tomorrow the gang will travel to Georgia to face federal bank robbery and firearms charges, then head to Florida for even more charges.
