They were built in 1982, and now they need to be repaired and replaced.
Dorms at the state fairgrounds in Pueblo are used by 4-H and FFA.
The front of each building is historic, but within the next five to seven years, they hope to completely tear down and rebuild the back of each.
For now, they are looking at replacing the roof to help out in the meantime, but in the future, they want buildings that can be used all year.
"Right now there's air conditioning, but no heating in these facilities," said Chris Wiseman, General Manager of the Colorado State Fair. "It could be meeting areas, so that's our goal is to replace them. They are in disrepair on the outside and similar problems on the inside."
You can attend a bluegrass music festival June 1-3 at the state fairgrounds to help raise money for the repairs.
