Dolly Parton blind dates for charity

KNOXVILLE (AP) - Someone has paid $138,000 for a blind date with Dolly Parton. She auctioned off the date for a foundation that provides medical care to the people of Sevier County, Tennessee. The Knoxville News Sentinel says she'll take her date on a tour of her property in Nashville, her tour bus and her favorite places in Nashville. Parton and her date will also eat a catered dinner and breakfast. The high bidder can bring six guests along. Parton says she hasn't been on a blind date since high school.
