Bo Bo the dog has a new leash on life. After cataracts left him blind, Bo Bo saw his owner for the first time in two years Wednesday.
Bo Bo, a 12-year-old Chinese Crested, had his sight restored by Angell Animal Medical Center Ophthalmologist Dr. Martin Coster.
"It was very disappointing for a long time, and we never thought it was going to happen, but it did," said Lis Feeney, Bo Bo's owner.
Dr. Coster says Bo Bo is doing fine after the surgery. "He's doing great... and has high quality of life and best quality of life, and that's the best we can ask for," said Dr. Coster.
"I am just thrilled with the whole thing... just wanna get him home and relaxed and get him in his bed that he's use to," said Feeney.
