While some college students are already enjoying their break, others are still cramming for final exams and that leads to stress and, at some schools, dogs.
Research shows pets decrease the level of stress hormones and increase endorphins, known as the happiness hormone.
That's why many colleges are turning to pet therapy.
Some schools are asking faculty and alumni to bring their dogs to campus during finals.
Others are actually using this time to train dogs to be companions as well.
