Dog survives 100 mile trek in hood of truck

A small dog has a remarkable story. "chevy" earned his new name because he survived a 100-mile journey - inside the engine of a truck.
You might say this dog had a really "ruff" ride in california last week. The driver says he heard a sound coming from the engine, so he pulled over - popped the hood - and found Chevy laying inside.
The dog was taken to a local animal shelter and workers there say he's fine. Now they're trying to find his owner, and if they can't, the man who drove him there wants to take him home.
No word on how the dog managed to wedge himself into the engine.
