The wildfire burning on the San Isabel National Forest near Beulah, Colorado is now 100% contained. Due to higher relative humidity and the excellent progress made by ground fire crews, the Ditch Creek fire has been contained.
Several fire crews will be released and made available for other assignments in the region. 23 firefighters will remain on the fire to continue mop up operations. Sunday morning and residents can expect to see firefighting activities in the area.
Smoke could still be visible as firefighters continue to mop up hotspots for the next several days.
