Director to stay in jail through the week

Film director Roman Polanski will be held in jail at least three more days. Swiss authorities say he needs more time to pay his $4.5 million bail. They say all of the other conditions have been satisfied to allow him to move from jail to his chalet, where he'll remain under house arrest.
He could eventually be sent to the United States, where he's wanted for having sex in 1977 with a 13-year-old girl.
