The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office is investigating the possible homicide of a 50-year old man, who was the victim of a bizarre theft the week before his death. The coroner says Robert Piserchio suffered multiple external injuries. Investigators says his body was burned and there's evidence shots were fired inside his house, where he was found dead on Dec. 10.

Around 7:30 p.m. on November 29, two women went to Piserchio's house on Stonemoor Dr. asking for help. According to a theft report filed on November 30, Piserchio says one woman was acting like she was having a seizure. Piserchio let the women inside. After about an hour they left the home, but returned a half hour later with another woman. They brought Piserchio a cake to thank him for his help. The women stayed at the home until 11 p.m. Who they are remains a mystery. The following day Piserchio noticed his wallet was stolen. His wallet contained about $150 in cash and a VISA credit card. Piserchio filed a theft report with the sheriff's office.

In the report, Piserchio described the women as being in their mid 30s. The woman who allegedly faked the seizure is described as 5'4'', a chunky build and blond hair. She was wearing a CU Buffalo baseball cap, blue jeans, and blue jean jacket. The second woman has long black hair and bad teeth. The third woman had long blond hair, a white t-shirt, and had a tattoo by her belly button.

At the time Piserchio told detectives he didn't call 911 because he thought the women were nice, and he thought they lived down the street.

The coroner is conducting an autopsy to determine Piserchio's cause of death. Piserchio is the brother-in-law of Fountain Police Chief Dan Corsentino.
