Deputy injured in Denver

DENVER (AP) - One Denver police officer was injured and had to be cut out of her car after a car accident downtown involving three vehicles.
KCNC-TV reports that the accident happened at about 3 p.m. Thursday and that a driver was cited for failing to yield to a left turn.
The police officer and the driver who was cited suffered what are believed to be minor injuries and were transported to a hospital.
