The Arapahoe County Sheriff says a 41-year-old man broke into the office early Saturday morning and tried to open a gun safe.
Deputies say they noticed broken glass and a man inside when they arrived.
They say when they called the substation he even answered "Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office"
He eventually came outside and was taken down by a police dog.
