Denver hit-and-run victim dies

Authorities say a bicyclist who was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in the Denver suburb of Lakewood has died of his injuries.
Police spokesman Randy McNitt says Kenneth W. Kienzle, 58, of Lakewood was struck by a vehicle at an intersection Wednesday morning, was declared brain dead yesterday, and died today.
McNitt says Catherine Marie Bean, 22, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault, driving under the influence, careless driving and failure to remain at the scene of an accident.
A charge of vehicular homicide will be added to the counts.
