LONE TREE, Colo. (AP) - A Denver-area hospital emergency room
was shut down while a hazardous materials team responded to a
patient who arrived with a radioactive rock in his pocket. The
patient and a few ER staffers were isolated and the area was roped
off. The Skyridge Medical Center in Lone Tree says the rock was
determined to be harmless.
