Actor Dennis Hopper is off the road, and going into treatment for prostate cancer. A manager for the 73 year-old actor and artist says he is canceling all travel plans to focus on his illness and treatment through a special program at the university of southern California.
Hopper's manager would not elaborate on the actor's prognosis, only saying Hopper is hoping for the best. Hopper was hospitalized earlier this month and treated for dehydration, forcing him to cancel an appearance at an exhibit of his artwork and photography in Australia.
The easy rider star recently finished shooting the second season of Crash, a tv version of the oscar-winning 2004 film.
