Finishing out their series with Portland on a strong note, the Sky Sox routed Portland 20-8 Monday afternoon at Security Service Field.

The offensive explosion was highlighted by newcomer Dexter Fowler and first baseman Brad Eldred. The Rockies sent Fowler down to the Sky Sox yesterday. Fowler went 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, two walks, and a home run in his first career game with the Sox. Eldred went 4-for-6 with two home runs, four runs scored, and seven RBI.

With the win, the Sky Sox improve to 23-27 while the Beavers fall to 19-32. Chaz Roe (2-7, 7.32) was credited with the win while Nathan Culp (0-2, 8.40) took the loss.

The Sky Sox will be hosting Reno Tuesday as ace Alan Johnson (4-1, 2.15) will take the hill against Bryan Augenstein (2-6, 6.12). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
