Dead body found in grave is missing Pueblo man

A body found last weekend in a shallow grave near Pueblo, has been identified as Brian J. Swartz. The 30-year old had reportedly been missing.
A hunter found Swartz's body on September 5, off of Highway 96 about 20 miles west of Pueblo.
Pueblo County Coroner Jim Kramer says his office is still investigating how Swartz died. Kramer also says the Pueblo Police Department was actively searching for Swartz as a missing person.
The Pueblo Police Department has launched a homicide investigation.
