The Washington, D.C., area was shaken by a minor earthquake.
The quake hit at 3:04 a.m. MDT with a magnitude of 3.6. A physicist with U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center says the quake was centered in the Rockville, Maryland, area.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
