Her dad was commander when they put a base inside Cheyenne Mountain, and today she got to tour his legacy.

Kay Partridge, daughter of Air Force Gen. Earle E. Partridge, poses for a photo outside the entrance of Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station(CMAFS),this morning.

Partridge's father was the commander of the North American Air Defense Command at Ent AFB, in 1955 and was the driving force behind the construction of CMAFS, which was famous for being the home of NORAD for many years.

Kay Partridge was given a tour of the facility her father worked so hard to complete and command. General Partridge retired from the Air Force in 1959 and passed away in 1990.
