Dan Maes to announce running mate at noon

Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes has reached the deadline for announcing his choice of a running mate.
Spokesman Nate Strauch says Maes interviewed four or five candidates over the weekend and will announce his choice on Tuesday. He'll make the announcement at noon at his campaign office in Englewood.
Democratic candidate John Hickenlooper chose Colorado State University-Pueblo President Joe Garcia to be his running mate.
American Constitution Party challenger Tom Tancredo kept Doug Campbell, who was chosen by the party's former candidate, Benjamin Goss.
Tancredo was chosen to fill the position by a vacancy committee when Goss withdrew.
