Widespread light precipitation should continue a good portion of the morning for southern Colorado. By the afternoon, with heating and abundant moisture we should see another round of scattered to numerous showers, this time more widespread across the eastern mountains. There will be at least some isolated chances for precip across the plains. Basically the day will likely feel pretty cool and damp for the mountains/adjacent plains today.
Sunday, the best chances for precipitation will be over the western mountains and along the lee slopes west of I-25. So expect a few thunderstorms through Sunday evening.
Monday, showers and thunderstorms will once again be possible over the mountains, with lesser chances over the plains.
The pattern continues into Tuesday. the best chances for thunderstorms across southern Colorado will be on Tuesday. In the afternoon, there will be a chance for thunderstorms, where one or two of them could be strong.
Wednesday, a low pressures system will be generating areas of showers and thunderstorms over southern Colorado.
Thursday has the potential to be an active thunderstorm day.
