Dad of 9/11 victim: no closure in bin Laden death

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - The father of a flight attendant from Rhode Island killed when her plane was flown into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, says he's happy about the death of Osama bin Laden, but there is no closure because the family still feels his daughter's loss.

Kathryn LaBorie was the head flight attendant on United Airlines Flight 175. Her father, Gene Yancey, of Colorado Springs, Colo., says it's good that bin Laden is gone, but his emotions will always be open and raw.

Her husband says he's frustrated and finds no satisfaction in the news. Eric LaBorie, of Bedford County, Va., says he can't trust the government and is not confident bin Laden is dead. He says the news has brought back difficult memories.
