DA says Pueblo teen will face adult murder charge

A 17-year will be charged as an adult in the murder of a Pueblo West man, according to the Pueblo's District Attorney's office. Torey Kuznicki is from Pueblo, but he was arrested on December 27, 2010 outside of Chicago.

News First 5 has now learned Kuznicki has waived extradition and will be headed back here to face the following charges: first degree murder, first degree burglary and theft.

Kuznicki is accused of killing Michael Hopkins, 50, at his home on Spanish Lady Ln. in Pueblo West in June 2010. Sheriff deputies say the teen shot Hopkins during a break-in.
