Custodian - Pikes Peak Community College

This full-time position provides custodial support to the Facilities & Operations division at Pikes Peak Community College. Performs general cleaning and maintenance of buildings, furniture, equipment and surrounding areas. Vacuums, sweeps, mops, strips, waxes and polishes floors. Dusts furniture, doors, and window sills, cleans blackboards, and collects and removes trash. Locks and unlocks doors; cleans, disinfects, sanitizes and polishes restroom fixtures and restocks paper goods. Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for school functions. Operates, cleans, and maintains custodial equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, carpet extractors, and upholstery cleaners. Trains and works with non-classified personnel. Ensures adequate stock of supplies in assigned areas. Attends meetings and demonstrations as required. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
