DENVER (AP) - The University of Colorado regents are meeting behind closed doors to discuss the school's athletic conference membership, which could switch from the Big 12 to Pac-10.
University spokesman Ken McConnellogue said the regents planned to discuss the Big 12 conference during the meeting Tuesday evening, but declined to elaborate.
Public boards can close meetings to discuss specific issues, including personnel and legal matters.
There's been speculation of a shakeup of the Big 12 conference, with Nebraska and Missouri possibly going to the Big Ten and Colorado to the Pac-10.
