Boulder County prosecutors and University of Colorado athletic officials have formed a task force aimed at repairing relationships following CU's football recruiting scandal.

The scandal was sparked after two women said they were raped by players and recruits at a boozy off-campus party in 2001. No sexual assault charges were ever filed, but the women sued CU and settled in 2007.

The task force aims to educate student-athletes about the law and make them feel comfortable in Boulder. Members include athletic director Mike Bohn, District Attorney Stan Garnett and city Police Chief Mark Beckner.

Members will talk with student-athletes about the consequences of their behavior and listen to athletes' concerns about law enforcement.
